The Woodbridge Pledge

Today I pledge that I will be responsible for my work and behavior, respectful of myself and others, be cooperative, and learn to be safe. I will do my best to make Woodbridge a warm and welcoming place to learn.

The mission of Woodbridge Elementary School is to improve student achievement today, inspire a life long commitment to learning, and develop responsible, educated leaders for tomorrow in a safe and caring environment.


We will provide the future citizens and leaders of the 21st Century with the skills, knowledge, and attitude needed for their success in a complex society.

Woodbridge Elementary School will be among the highest performing schools in the state of Maryland, prepare students for college and career success, inspire students to become life-long learners and reinforce strong foundational skills.

Woodbridge is very fortunate to be a Professional Development School in cooperation with Towson University. Many of our faculty members serve as mentors for those college students who are going to be our future educators. The interns work with our classroom teachers to learn how to deliver instruction that meets the needs of our students.
